The load is applied using pneumatic fluidic muscles providing stepless actuation, the proportional valve being controlled via PLC. Load sensing is then converted by amplifiers to digital signal in kilograms.

The machine is certified by SAIDSA accredited calibration engineers to verify accuracy.
