HB Green Engineering was established by Hilton Green on 1 June 1999

This was as a result of a perceived gap in the market created by the lack of capacity on the part of service providers to companies in Durban, South Africa. His strength is that he is a qualified Fitter and Turner and previously employed by Toyota Automotive Components as a Product Engineer, earning much experience in systems implementation, engineering solutions, automation, jigs and fixture manufacture with the requisite training, qualifications and commitment to quality demanded by industry.

The key focus was precision machining as well as the manufacturing of jigs and fixtures. HB Green Engineering was launched with a small budget, minimal machinery and two clients.

Today HB Green Engineering has grown its client base with the commitment of 18 dedicated staff.
